The Birdie Necklace is an accessory with personality yet simultaneously discreet.
It surrounds the neck with elements in soft fabric and the embellishment of some pieces of recycled porcelain.
It adjusts to the neck with a capuchin knot and brown cotton cords, finished with a fabric element and a porcelain piece engraved with the word Mhodzi.
2% of the sales from the Birdie Collection are donated to the Instituto Monsenhor Airosa in Braga, Portugal, a non-profit organization that helps children, young people, and the elderly.

Details
This necklace has 70 fabric elements, cut from small half circles of fabric, sewn and manipulated by hand one by one, and subsequently sewn together.
All fabric was rescued from surplus textile factories in northern Portugal. This fabric was originally white and was later dyed with coffee grounds.
More important than its composition is honoring its existence by transforming it into a unique work of art.
The Birdie Necklace has five pieces of recycled porcelain and glass, in a green hue, one of them engraved with the word Mhodzi.
It took several days of manual work by four artisans for this powerful piece to be ready for you.
Due to being handmade with the mentioned materials, each piece is unique and may present slight differences.
Care & Maintenance
This is a unique piece, handmade with textile materials and recycled porcelain pieces.
Avoid contact with water and do not wash, as it may damage the structure of the small textile pieces and the overall composition of the piece.
The ceramic details are fragile. Please, when removing this piece, carefully place it in its respective box, carefully padded, to keep it intact.
