Details
There are ten pieces of fabric in this ring, cut from small half circles of fabric, sewn and manipulated by hand one by one, and subsequently sewn together.
All fabric was rescued from surplus textile factories in northern Portugal. This fabric was originally white and was later dyed with coffee grounds.
More important than its composition is honoring its existence by transforming it into a unique work of art.
The Birdie Ring has three pieces of recycled porcelain and glass, in a green hue, one of them engraved with the word Mhodzi.
Due to being handmade with the mentioned materials, each piece is unique and may present slight differences.
Care & Maintenance
This is a unique piece, handmade with textile materials and recycled porcelain pieces.
Avoid contact with water and do not wash, as it may damage the structure of the small textile pieces and the overall composition of the piece. The ceramic details are fragile.
Please, when removing this piece, carefully place it in its respective box, carefully padded, to keep it intact.
