Product Information

Details

This choker features:
• 22 large fabric butterflies
• 29 medium fabric butterflies
• 23 small fabric butterflies
• 1 sustainable apple “leather” tag.

All butterflies are cut from small squares of fabric, hand-sewn and manipulated, then individually sewn onto the macramé structure made with cotton cord.

The entire structure and closure of the choker uses 100 meters of natural cotton cord.

All fabric and cord used are rescued from surplus textile factories in northern Portugal. More important than their composition is honoring their existence by transforming them into a unique work of art.

The Butterfly Choker includes 7 recycled porcelain and glass butterflies in pink with glazed finishes.

It took three days of manual work by two artisans to complete this powerful piece, just for you.

Because it is handmade with the mentioned materials, each piece is unique and may have slight differences.

Care & Maintenance

The Butterfly Choker Rainha Alexandra is a unique, handmade piece with textile materials.

Avoid contact with water, parfums and creams. Do not wash, as it may damage the structure of the small butterflies and the overall composition of the piece.

With frequent use, the piece may develop some creases in the textile butterflies. You can use an iron at the minimum temperature to correct the shape.

The ceramic butterflies are fragile, they're easily broken. Please, when removing it from your neck, carefully place the choker in its respective box, cushioned to keep it intact.
